Rakennuslehti has named SRV’s Nissniku multi-purpose building Finland’s Construction Site of the Year 2026. The winner was announced at the FinnBuild fair in Helsinki on 30 September 2026. Nissniku is the second winning site in a row to use Aiforsite in production management, following Jatke’s M14 Signe in 2025.
Leadership visible in daily work
Now in its 40th year, the Construction Site of the Year competition drew a record 12 entries, six of which reached the final. This year’s special theme was site management.
The seven-member jury assessed management, safety, quality, cooperation, wellbeing at work and the ability to develop the industry. According to the jury, Nissniku stood out as a strong whole, where an open culture of cooperation, people-centred leadership and continuous improvement were visible in everyday work.

Up-to-date site situational awareness for site management
At Nissniku, Aiforsite provided up-to-date situational awareness of progress and resources against the plan. The data was turned into two automated workflows:
- 360 Reality Capture against the schedule: 360° capture data is compared with scheduled tasks. Every week, Wendy AI produces a report showing whether planned work is on time, behind or ahead of schedule, and suggests priorities for the next work phases.
- Real-Time Location System (RTLS) against planned resources: The crew detected on site is compared with planned resources by production area. Deviations are sent to site management, who can act on them in real time.
Plan, progress and actions stayed in one chain, which left site managers more time to run production.
“What you don’t measure, you can’t manage. Aiforsite brings the flow of production, and how it compares with the plan, into view in real time, so deviations can be addressed before they turn into problems.”
